The primary purpose of the Redlands Optimist Club Foundation is to raise funds to carry out the various youth oriented charitable events implemented by the Redlands Optimist Club. The Redlands Optimist Club is a member of Optimist International, which was founded in 1918 to serve the youth of our communities. Our motto is “Friend of Youth”.
To reach the youth of our community, the Redlands Optimist Club partners with many other community organizations including Redlands Unified School District (RUSD), Family Services Association of Redlands, the City of Redlands, YMCA of the East Valley, Boys and Girls Clubs of the Inland Empire, Redlands Bowl Performing Arts, Youth Hope Foundation and the American Association of University Women, to name a few.
The Redlands Optimist Club Foundation, Inc. is a nonprofit entity under Internal Revenue Service Code Section 501(c)(3).
